Although the heat is forecast at a 'balmy' 111f today, the rest of the week will see the mercury rise to highs of 117f by Friday.
The Borrego Days Planning committee are meeting at 4.00p.m. today and would welcome volunteers. Drop by the Chamber to get involved.
Tuesday, 19 at 8.am. the board of directors for the Borrego Springs Chamber of Commerce will be meeting at the Chamber/CVB. Sun Online will be reporting about the meeting straight after it happens. So watch out for the news.
Wednesday, 20 at 6.30p.m. - 8.00p.m. the Borrego Art Institute are inviting artists of any level to drop in at this weekly workshop.
Thursday, 21 Parks & Recreation Champion Awards are being held in San Diego. Good luck to Jim Wilson on his nomination.
Friday, 22 The monthly meeting of the Julian Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors will begin at 6 PM.
