IID Board Meeting

The Imperial Irrigation District Board (IID), held two Public Rate Hearings last week, one in El Centro and one in La Quinta
The hearings dealt with the proposed Net Energy Metering Successor Program which the IID are scheduled to make a decision on at their meeting Tue. July 19.
It is scheduled that the board will be asked to decide on the Salton Sea Quality Mitigation Program, and to approve Local Entity funding for a proposed California Ethanol Plant.
Guidelines for backfeed power funds for on-farm conservation projects will also be on the agenda.
The public portion of the meeting starts at 1:00 pm in Condit Auditorium on Broadway in El Centro.
