An exhibition of photography by J. Raymond Mireles at Circuitous Succession Gallery depicts a mosaic of the individuality and diversity that make this country unique in the world.
Based in San Diego, Mireles is a commercial and editorial photographer. On a journey from Palm Springs to towns nestled around the Salton Sea, Mireles created the project "Invisible River".
One of the beautiful and haunting images in the series is "Discarded Television". A simple picture of just that, an old TV set, its innards a jumble of wires, tubes and diodes, beached at the edge of the Salton Sea.
