Happy 4th of July

A happy Independence Day from everyone at the Borrego Sun.
In 1776, Richard Henry Lee stood before the Continental Congress, he gave a simple speech, one that would be the impetus for America gaining freedom. "Resolved: That these United Colonies are, and of right ought to be, free and independent States, that they are absolved from all allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain is, and ought to be, totally dissolved."
Times change and the face of the enemy changes with it but Independence Day is a period for celebration, hope and remembrance. An opportunity to learn from the courage of the past and look to the success of the future.
