High Temps and Odor Alert

Last updated 6/19/2016 at 8:24am

Temperatures today are looking to hit 119f with tomorrow expecting highs of 123f. The heat wave won’t ease until Tuesday. Forecasters say monsoonal moisture from Baja California may begin to flow into parts of Southern California.

The South Coast Air Quality Management District has issued an odor advisory today, due to elevated levels of hydrogen sulfide from the Salton Sea.

As we enter in to the Summer solstice, make use of the dark skies across Borrego for the full strawberry moon on June 20.
