Alta Vista Botanical Gardens will host two receptions Sunday June. 12, in honor of artist Ricardo Breceda.

Nine of Breceda’s metal sculptures will be on display including a giant five-piece serpent, triceratops, velociraptor, spinosaurus and T-Rex.

Best known for his 350-foot serpent displayed in Borrego Springs. Breceda will be meeting visitors and answering questions, at the public reception, from 2 to 3 p.m.. A private reception is from 3 to 5 p.m. with the sculptor, including appetizers and drinks.
