Borrego Springs - Trash Talk

The trash was unable to be collected Thurs June.2, from the big trash bins provided by the Borrego Springs Chamber of Commerce and located just outside their offices.
For recycling, there is a hole at the top of the dumpster where you can throw your recyclables away and if you have regular trash, all you have to do is go inside the Chamber and ask for the key. What can't be fitted in the bin has to be disposed of privately. Linda Haddock at the Chamber explains that you are not allowed to throw away large bulky items or place them in front of the dumpster, like the mattress (pictured) that was was placed there early Thursday.
The service is free and one that Linda Haddock loves providing to the community, however if dumping of large items continue, the Chamber might have to decide to suspend this program.
