Borrego Springs - Excessive Heat Warning

The excessive heat warning remains in effect despite temperatures beginning to fall.
Yesterday saw thermometers at 117f with cool zones being put in to effect. Today should see temps no higher than 112, according to forecasts.
Several fires have broken out throughout the county and fires services remain on alert.
