Salton City - Home Invasion, Murder

Three Indio men were arrested Wednesday night following a break in into a Salton City home and have been accused of beating a person to death during the robbery.
According to a release from the Imperial County Sheriff's Department, deputies were called to the 1100 block of Barbara Avenue in Salton City shortly after 9 p.m, where witnesses described how three black men forced their way into the home and began beating and robbing them.
Four victims were inside the home. Emergency crews found one of them still passed out on the floor and CPR was performed. Tragically, the victim was pronounced deceased at the home, authorities said.
US Border Patrol agents spotted the vehicle in Riverside County near Avenue 66 after deputies released a BOLO for the suspect's vehicle. According to the Imperial County Sheriff's Department, a witness later identified the vehicle as the suspect's car, .
The suspects were identified as 35-year-old Kevin Scott, 20-year-old Aaron Jackson, and 29-year-old Justin Alford, all from Indio. All three were interviewed at the sheriff's stations prior to being arrested on charges of murder, conspiracy and burglary, among other charges.
Authorities said bail has been set at $1 million for all three suspects.
