Borrego Springs Kingston Trio, PBS Special

Last year saw the Kingston Trio in Borrego Springs and entertaining the crowds.
If you would like to relive the experience, then good news, as not only has PBS picked up the film of the concert but Time-Life has just picked up the DVD, Bluray, and CD soundtrack, which will all be on sale shortly.
Producer and filmmaker Chip Miller of Desert C.A.M. Studios, states “In 15 years, no show has been picked up faster and by more PBS affiliates than our K3 special! It has broken the record set by "Riverdance."
With every major city to air the program from June 4 throughout the Summer, it can be viewed in Borrego Springs June 7 at 8 PM and June 12 at 8:30 PM.
On the DVD of the PBS show, there are 4 bonus songs that were taped at the Dreamweaver Amphitheater 2015. “Very clearly behind the songs is the banner for La Casa, our way of saying thank you for the hospitality they showed all of us during the taping and our stay there.” said Miller.
Included in the bonus footage is a 25 minute interview with Bob Shane, all taped in a La Casa suite. Miller is rightfully proud of the work he and his team have created which PBS is submitting it for an EMMY nomination and it looks like they will have a definite hit on their hands, he says “Thanks again, Linda and to all who welcomed us there last year.”
The DVD and soundtrack CD will be available to the public around August 1st.
