BSUSD - New Superintendent

New officers approved.
The regular meeting of the Borrego Springs Unified School District Board took place on April 13, at the Community Room of the Borrego Springs High School. The Board approved the contracts of Mark Stevens as the new Superintendent and Martha Diechler as the new Deputy Superintendent.
The two were approved after the board had previously decided to hire from within. Also approved was an action to waive the credential requirements of the Superintendent under the authority of Education Code section 35028 and section 35029.
