The 'Out of Africa' table won Best Table_ designed by Chrisanne Padersen
The second Annual "Poppy Tea" hosted by the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 853 of Borrego Springs, took place on Sunday, March 20.
The event was deemed a successful elegant affair with 100 percent of the $1200 raised going to benefit Veterans, Active Servicemen and their families. Volunteers of the Auxiliary donated not only their time to make all the delightful savory and sweet treats for the event, but everything to make it possible.
The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 853 encourages all women who are eligible to join their membership. If you are a wife or husband, daughter or son of an active military serviceman or woman, you are eligible to join.
