Celebrating Christ in Christmas

On Sunday, Dec. 13 at 3.00p.m. in the afternoon and again at 7:30 in the evening, there was beautiful music at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church.
Directed by Jinny Perrin, Dick Helvig, and Sherry Harapat, 40 local singers brought us glorious Christmas music. Bonnie Walker was the organist.
People began to arrive at 2 p.m. to be sure of getting seats, but many sat on benches outside the church’s open doors. The church was filled for the evening concert too. The audience was invitedp.m to sing along with the choir for some familiar carols. An annual event, we hope.
