Stewardship Council Meeting

The Stewardship Council will meet at the Steele/Burnand Desert Research Center on Friday, Nov. 20.
"An Introduction to Earth Systems Governance”, is aimed at discussing the utility-scale Solar farms currently being proposed for Borrego Springs.
Speakers at the event will be Theresa Jedd Ph.D. from Colorado State University, Abby Reyes, Director at UCI and Michelle Betsill, Professor, Political Science at Colorado State University.
With renewable energy sources an important part of California’s future, the workshop hopes to highlight the importance and possibilities for ecology and sustainability, as well as economy by bringing Crown of the Continent's award-winning formula to Borrego Springs.
