The Magnificent Seven(th): Course Report for Warner Springs Ranch Resort

It took me ten months to provide coverage for each of the six local golf courses in Borrego Springs – The Roadrunner Club, The Springs at Borrego, de Anza Country Club, The Borrego Springs Resort and Spa, and Club Circle. I thought I was done!
But then along came word that a seventh golf course was opening up this summer – at Warner Springs, a mere 45-minutes away. That's Borrego-adjacent in my book. I've driven past it dozens of times going to and returning from Los Angeles or Seal Beach via Temecula, but I got the impression, from a distance, that it was a rather flat and unremarkable course.
However, on the afternoon of August 26th, I was the first golf reporter to play the newly renovated course, and the course is anything but flat and unremarkable!
