Salton Sea – Arrest Following Kidnap

The Salton Sea-area community of Oasis, saw four local men arrested, sheriff's officials say following a resident being kidnapped, robbed at gunpoint and assaulted.
The crime happened Sept. 17 in Oasis according to a written statement released Wednesday, prompting a raid team to serve three search warrants where deputies seized six rifles, six handguns, a shotgun, ammunition, gang paraphernalia and cash.
Eighteen year old Albin Tadeo, and twenty one year old Jesus Tadeo, were both booked for investigation of victim and witness intimidation and a 16-year-old boy was booked for investigation of kidnapping for ransom, carjacking, armed robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and extortion. A further 26-year-old, Fernando Chavez was booked for investigation of possession for sale of methamphetamine, possession of a stolen gun and possession of a gun while selling narcotics.
