Attention Volunteers

The Season is about to get underway at the Borrego Art Institute and an exciting season it will be. There are so many new projects underway including the ArtFarm and the Restaurant and a new Pottery Studio. The Gallery has another tremendous line up of new shows; not just the major ones we have each month but a few smaller ones tossed in also. And, it will be launching the new website soon. This email is just a hint at some of the new changes taking place.
This is the time to start signing up for a volunteer position in the Gallery. The major need is for desk sitters to handle sales and the phone. Along with the desk worker, the institute would like a backup docent on each shift to work the floor, greeting visitors, answering questions, wrapping purchases. That means two volunteers per shift. Starting Oct. 1, the institute will be open Tuesday through Sunday, 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Shifts each day will be 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.
