Six pounds of methamphetamine were found in the toilet of a commercial bus at the Highway 86 check point. Agents found three bundles of the drug wrapped with tape at 4:30 a.m. on Aug. 11.

The amount was valued at $60,000. Agents were not able to determine who had hidden the drugs in the toilet. The case was turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.

In a later incident, $99,000 worth of meth was found in the rocker panel of a Nissan Sentra. The drug-sniffing dogs found 9.9 pounds of the drug when the 20-year-old female driver was stopped at the Highway 86 check point.
