Border Patrol agents seized 8.36 pounds, valued at approximate $133,000, worth of cocaine concealed inside a car's front and back bumpers at the Highway 86 Border Patrol checkpoint near the Salton Sea Friday Aug. 7.

The driver of the car, a 24-year-old male U.S. citizen was stopped whilst driving a white Pontiac G6 at the checkpoint at about 8:30 a.m. after drug-sniffing dogs alerted agents to the vehicle.

The drugs, driver and vehicle were turned over to the Drug Enforcement agency.
