Plan to Save the Salton Sea

The Salton Sea Restoration and Renewable Energy Initiative is the Imperial Irrigation District's plan to restore the Salton Sea to its former days of glory. The I.I.D. staff plan to release a 260-page document during a board meeting on Tuesday, outlining possibilities for restoring the Salton Sea, and also being able to use it as a renewable energy source.
