Ormat to Use 3-D Images

The photo shows the 25 x 25 sq. miles in the Truckhaven area were Ormat Technologies, Inc. will perform seismic testing to find out if a geothermal project is viable. The Salton Sea Airport is the staging area where equipment, trucks and helicopters will be kept.
The process Ormat invented and developed is non-invasive; there is no need to drill 2,000 - 4,000 ft. underground. Ormat's method will produce 3-D images using acousting signals.
