A 65 year old male transient was arrested for cruelty to animals (cats) in the Shelter Valley area on July 25 at 3:00 p.m. County Animal Services is assisting the Sheriff's Department. on the investigation and the animals were turned over to them. The person was booked into Vista Jail.
