SALTON SEA - Single-car crash

A single-vehicle crash near Highway 111 and Vander Veer Road, the turnoff to North Shore Beach and Yacht Club, has killed one person and injured two.
The wreck was reported at 7:06 p.m. Monday, July. 27, along the north shore of the Salton Sea, according to Riverside County Fire Department officials
Five people were involved in the accident, one person died at the scene. An adult and a young person were transported to hospital. Two other children have escaped injury.
