Julian - Merchant of the Year Award for Wynola Flats Produce
Last updated 7/30/2015 at 1:19pm
Wynola Flats Produce and R&S Honey was opened three years ago by Stacy and Randy Peyakov. Their produce is both organic and conventional, and locally grown whenever possible- with imports from small farms in Imperial Valley and various areas within San Diego County. Whatever fruits and vegetables are in season can be found at the stand, as well as honey, nuts, eggs, olive oil and more.
Stacy Peyakov has roots in Julian and farming, and was recently seen in a bee suit in Julian's 4th of July parade. Stacy is Julian's first Honorary Mayor, besides serving as store manager for Wynola Flats Produce. Her husband, Randy Peyakov, is a popular teacher at Borrego Springs High School, in addition to being the stand's farm manager.
You can't miss the stand alongside apple orchards- just off the main road at 3962 Hwy. 78 in Wynola- situated between Santa Ysabel and Julian.
