The Merchant of the year for 2015 is Stacy Peyakov, owner of Wynola Flats Produce (and Honorary Mayor of Julian.) Merchants awards were given out at the Merchant's Picnic on Wednesday evening, July 15, at the Menghini Winery. Business excellence awards were given to Nickle Beer Co., Julian Lodge, Julian Family Fiddle Camp, Cuyamaca Lake Restaurant, Miner's Diner and Wynola Junction Antiques & Collectibles.
