The Borrego Springs Boys & Girls Clubs United won their first ever medal when they competed in a soccer tournament at the Annual Summer Games, they were ecstatic.
On Friday, July 10, the team faced off against other Boys & Girls Clubs from the County of San Diego at Miramar College, claiming third place bringing home a bronze medal, their first.
The team was composed of Fernando Alcaraz, Daniel Arias, Victor Arias, Cameron Jambor, Marla Manzano, Cesar Ochoa, Alexis Padilla, Even Padilla, Noah Perales, and Carlos Vilches.
