Robin Henkel, the intense San Diego blues and jazz musician, returned to Wynola Pizza and Bistro on June 19- accompanied by Caleb Furgatsh, who complimented Robin's versatile stylings with the soulful sounds of his acoustic upright bass. Whether Robin is vocalizing some raw emotion punctuated by a slide up the metal neck of his 1929 National Tricone guitar or vibing on the Brazilian cuica drum, Robin commands the audience's attention. Look for Robin Henkel as one of the entertainers for this year's Borrego Days.
