The last sundowner of the season was held at the State Visitor Center on Friday, May 15. It was a successful event with many Borregans and local businesses attending. The temperature reached 56 degrees and the storm cleared up with the sun peaking through the Valley. Borregans could catch a glimpse of Toro peak which surprisingly had a dusting of snow.

There was great food, music, and the usual raffles with great prizes including posters and gift certificates from local establishments.

The signature drink for the venue was an Arnold Palmer margarita which was hand-crafted and delicious.

Linda Haddock, director of the Chamber of Commerce, spoke at the event along with some of the local merchants. This was a beautiful evening for the sundowner and all the people who enjoyed it.
