Borrego Sun - Since 1949

The Anza-Borrego Desert Natural History Association held their 17th Annual Borrego Desert Garden Tour on March 28. The fund-raiser showcased a variety of creative uses of space at the eight sites on the tour, including six homes, a working ranch and a community garden. Tourists took in quiet niches, scenic pathways, delightful vegetable and cactus gardens, statuary and other artfully placed objects, even a miniature art show and a six day old filly. It was fun to see how individuals expressed their particular interests by tailoring the landscape with creative vision, illustrating home is where the heart is.
